Fridge Book

A platform to check and share the leftover food in ones' refrigerators.

This project aims to substantially reduce food waste at consumer levels. We spot the pain point from consumption circle where people have to bin the expired food (e.g. milk, eggs. etc.). One of the main causes is the amount that producer offer in one packaging is exceeded the real use.

Hence, we have designed a platform that helps consumers to check and share their household products to reduce the waste from consumption. The initial prototype is Fridge Book, a mobile application that people can check, buy ,and sell their food from refrigerators. By doing this, this model provides four main benefits to profit, people, and planet includes:
- Reduce waste from daily consumption.
- Reduce pollution from transportation.
- Increase interaction between people in community.
- Save cost from buying new ingredients every week, and also cost of transportation.
