Reducing packaging and food waste within supermarkets

Four initiatives to reduce packaging and food waste in supermarkets
1) a packaging scheme to raise awareness
2) dispensers to produce consumer autonomy and reduce packaging waste
3) sale of 'naturally beautiful' (misshapen and/or miscoloured) fruit and vegetables
4) 'earth points'- points attached to loyalty cards where consumers are rewarded for reducing their environmental impact and curtailing waste
